The purpose of the program is to develop information centers that enable parents to receive high-quality training and information.

Grants to USA and territories states and Tribes to develop and maintain public safety registries. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended for a range of projects that assist jurisdictions with developing and enhancing programs designed to implement the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA) requirements.

Awards to USA, Canada, and International libraries for exceptional public relations programs. Examples of eligible programs include summer reading programs, rebranding efforts, promoting unique archives, community partnerships, and awareness campaigns. In recognition of their achievement, John Cotton Dana award winners receive a cash award from the H.W. Wilson Foundation. The John Cotton Dana Awards are presented at a reception hosted by EBSCO and held during the American Library Association annual conference.

Grants of up to $5,000 to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations to provide therapeutic bodywork and massage to marginalized groups. Funding is also intended to provide massage services in places where it is not yet available. By providing massage services and therapy, grant recipients will help underserved communities achieve their health potential.

Award of $1,000 to a USA or Canada fire safety teacher to recognize leadership and community safety improvement efforts. Nominations are invited on behalf of individuals working for local fire departments and marshall's offices. In addition to the cash award for the recipient, the local fire department or the fire marshal’s office will receive a $1,000 donation to support public education activities.

Grants of up to $5,000 and grants of up to $10,000 to Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Rhode Island nonprofits, government agencies, tribes, and schools to engage artists for public performances. Applicants must complete the required registrations prior to applying. Funding is intended to support readings, screenings, and performances of work by regional, national, and international artists presented by New England-based organizations. Organizations serving rural communities and/or deeply engaging Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities are encouraged to apply.

The Kraft family and the Patriots Foundation recognize volunteers and present grants to the charities for which they volunteer.

Grants of up to $15,000 to USA, Canada, and Mexico investigators to benefit wildlife populations. Funding is intended for innovative research projects related to developing appropriate methods for studying wildlife and reducing wildlife conflict. Studies using new methodologies or that involve the innovative use of existing technologies are particularly welcome.

Financial assistance to USA ranchers to mitigate the damage of financial losses. Funding is intended to support applicants facing financial damage as a result of inclement weather, disease, wildfires, and water shortages. Funding may be claimed in the event of livestock death, feed and grazing loss, losses resulting from the cost of transporting water, honeybee feed, colony and hive losses, farm-raised fish feed and death losses, and losses related to cattle tick fever treatments.

Grants of up to $60,000 to USA nonprofit domestic violence and animal organizations partnering with other organizations to help domestic violence survivors escape abuse together with their pets. Funding is intended for pet foster programs, construction and renovation of housing for pets, temporary boarding for pets, and other services. Funds may also be used for routine veterinary care, emergency veterinary care, and pet deposits. Requests will be accepted from domestic violence organizations partnering with at least one animal organization, and from animal organizations partnering with at least one domestic violence organization.

Cooperative agreement to a USA or territories IHE, health professions school, government agency, or nonprofit organization to provide technical assistance to eligible federal grant recipients. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Applicants must have experience with behavioral health.

Grants to USA and territories nonprofit organizations to provide loans and sub-grants to low-income individuals in rural areas for water infrastructure projects. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. The goal of the program is to improve access to safe, reliable drinking water for households and improve the sanitary conditions caused by inadequate decentralized wastewater systems in rural areas.

Opportunity for USA and International high school students to participate in a summer science education program. The purpose of the program is to provide participants with an opportunity to take part in outdoor activities and engage with STEAM professionals. International delegates will be from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Trinidad, and Tobago.

Grants of $10,000 to USA and Puerto Rico restaurants for disaster relief. Funding may be used for operating expenses including utilities, rent, supplies and materials, food and beverage inventory, and supplier costs. Eligible restaurants are those experiencing hardships due to a state-, tribal-, or federally-declared natural disaster.

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and International artists for professional development. Fellows will be mentored by scholars, practitioners, visiting artists, and curators and will be matched with high school apprentices. The program will conclude with an exhibition for the fellow and their apprentices. The fellowship will take place in New Haven, Connecticut.

Fellowships to USA and International master’s and doctoral students in eligible countries to further STEM studies at American IHEs. In addition to receiving a cash grant, participating fellows will benefit from cross-cultural exchange, networking, and programming. The program aims to build ties among the next generation of scientists and technologists. Fellows are selected from an international pool of distinguished candidates from USA, Australia, India, Japan, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Grants to USA engineers and scientists at IHEs for research support and professional development. Funding is intended to assist scholars at the associate professor rank (or equivalent) in significantly improving and advancing their research program and career path. Research projects that envision new insights into existing problems or identify new problems made accessible with cutting-edge methodology or expertise from other fields are encouraged.

Grants of up to $5,000 to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations to provide therapeutic massages to cancer patients, survivors, and their families and caregivers. Funding is intended for patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer, their families and caregivers, and families who have lost loved ones to breast cancer.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations and IHEs for innovative technological and scientific research projects in the field of civil, mechanical, and manufacturing innovation. Applicants are advised that the required registrations must be completed prior to applying. Funding is available for two tracks: the Pivot Track and the Relaunch Track.

Opportunity for USA teams of youth leaders and adult leaders from eligible organizations to participate in a leadership development program related to peacemaking. Successful applicants will receive professional development and coaching, monetary support for project expenses, and other tools and resources. Funding is intended for urgent capital projects that will preserve buildings that serve the community and that are of cultural significance. Projects to improve accessibility are also eligible. Houses of worship for any religion may apply.

Grants of up to $50,000 to USA individuals and newsrooms for reports related to racial disparities in the nation's criminal justice system. Funding is intended to assist organizations and journalists with reporting on judicial, law enforcement, prosecutorial, and incarceration racial and human rights abuses. The grant program promotes the Lipman Center's mission of reporting in the public interest on civil and human rights and comes at a crucial juncture in the history of race and rights in the United States.

Grants, loans, and technical assistance to USA nonprofit and for-profit organizations, IHEs, Tribal agencies and organizations, and government agencies for projects to increase food access in underserved regions. Applicants must submit a funding inquiry form and complete required registrations prior to applying. Applications should demonstrate how funding will support the creation, expansion, or retention of a food retail or food enterprise business model.

Scholarships to USA, Canada, and International Master's or Doctoral students for studies in solid waste management. Funding is intended to provide a stipend to cover the student's expenses until graduation. During the scholarship period, students continue their projects related to solid waste issues and also work with scholars who will integrate them into industry events such as conferences and fundraisers, and facilitate visits to companies in the industry.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and eligible International cities to join a network to create sustainable cities. Applicants are required to register in the grant portal prior to submitting an application. Eligible applications can focus on one or several of the following eight fields: architecture, crafts and folk art, design, film, gastronomy, literature, media arts, and music. Eligible applicants are cities from UNESCO’s Member States and Associate Members.

Funding is intended to support programs and services to end abuse and violence perpetrated against victims 50 years of age or older.

Cooperative agreements to USA universities, museums, laboratories, nonprofit organizations, preservation agencies, and park agencies for cultural preservation research activities. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended for a range of activities to conserve buildings, landscapes, sites, and collections.

Awards of $50,000 to USA nonprofit and for-profit organizations, IHEs, research institutions, teams, and individuals for innovative ideas that improve the experience and health of aging populations. Topic areas may include mental and physical health, housing, policy, and urban planning. Ideas or projects that aim to reduce health disparities, promote health equity, combat ageism, or apply human-centered design principles to engage older adults in the work, are also of strong interest to the NAM.

Grants of up to $10,000 and grants of up to $20,000 to USA and territories nonprofit organizations, groups, and coalitions for social justice activities and projects. Funding is intended for programs within the focus areas of direct action, community organization and mobilization, and healing justice. The Mobilize Power Fund is a rapid response fund that resources gender justice organizations to adapt or pivot their work when met with unanticipated, time-sensitive opportunities or threats to their movement-building work and organizing conditions.

Scholarships to USA active duty service members and their dependents for higher education and vocational programs. Scholarships must be used for undergraduate studies or vocational-technical or certificate studies only. Scholarship recipients are selected based on community involvement, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal.

Grants to USA and territories state and territorial governments, local units of government, and Indian tribal governments to address violence and assault. Applicants are advised to complete the required registrations well in advance of the deadline. Funding is intended to improve the criminal justice response to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking as serious violations of criminal law, and to seek safety and autonomy for victims, by requiring the coordinated involvement of the entire criminal justice system.

Grants to USA institutions of higher education to provide support to low-income students in STEM fields. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended for scholarship programs, curriculum development, student retention programs, test strategies, and the dissemination of findings to support STEM students.

Awards to USA, Canada, and International students in grades 6 through 12 for short videos that demonstrate environmental or human welfare issues caused by population growth. Videos must focus on one of the following three global issues: child well-being, rainforest ecosystems, and sanitation. Entries must be digital videos, no more than 60 seconds in length. Videos must include information about how population growth impacts the issue and at least one idea for a sustainable solution.

Grants of $3,500 to USA and Canada nonprofit organizations, government agencies, tribes, and K-12 public, private, and charter schools for new or existing gardening projects. Requests may be made for edible educational gardens that grow fruits, herbs, edible flowers, grains, and vegetables.

Grants to USA and territories businesses for collaborative research to establish the feasibility of commercializing technologies. Applicants must submit a letter of intent and complete required registrations prior to submitting an application. Applicants must work collaboratively with an eligible research institution.

Grants to USA, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and community-based organizations for projects and programs to improve local communities. Programs must fall into one of the following categories: demonstration, capacity building, and flagship projects. The purpose of the program is to make communities more livable.

Grants to USA and territories musicians to support performances and tours in a specified music genre. Funding is intended to assist both new and established musicians, solo artists, and musicians who play in an ensemble. The purpose of the program is to advance the careers of jazz artists. Priority will be given to proposals that reach underserved communities and rural areas, especially those that lack opportunities to present live jazz.

Grants to USA parks and recreation agencies and nonprofit organizations for professional training for recreational programs for older adults. The purpose of the program is to enhance the accessibility of outdoor recreational spaces and the health of older residents.

Grants to USA youth-serving nonprofit organizations to benefit needy children. Funding is intended for programs that assist children who have experienced hardship, including psychological, physical, and social trauma. The purpose of the program is to minimize the adverse impacts of trauma on these children.

Grants to USA and territories nonprofit and for-profit organizations, government agencies, school districts, tribal governments, and IHEs to provide and improve telemedicine services and distance learning in rural communities. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take up to several weeks to complete. The intent of the DLT Program is to benefit rural areas (populations of 20,000 or less and not contiguous to urban areas greater than 50,000).

Grants to USA tribal governments and organizations for occupational rehabilitation activities for individuals with disabilities. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended to support services that prepare tribal members residing within or near Federal and State reservations with high-quality employment that will lead to economic self-sufficiency.

Grant of $45,000 to USA, Canada, and International researchers affiliated with an educational institution for psychology research in the area of giftedness. Funding is intended for projects related to gifted and talented children and adolescents. Eligible activities include research, pilot projects, and research-based programs.

Grants and in-kind marketing services to USA nonprofit organizations for creative and innovative programs designed to benefit military service members and their families. Funding is intended for applicants working to enhance the quality of life for veterans, individuals in the reserves, active duty, or National Guard, and their families.

Grants to USA universities and colleges for integrated research in identified priority areas in the organic agriculture industry. Applicants are advised that required registrations must be completed prior to applying. Collaborative projects are encouraged. Projects may include both crop and livestock research.

Project types include applied research and development projects.

Award of $20,000 to a USA individual to recognize contributions to the workers' rights movement. The award is intended to bring public recognition to the unsung heroes of the movement, including workplace leaders, members, and volunteers. The purpose of the award stipend is to provide the recipient with the flexibility to expand his or her work, professional activities, and achievements.

Opportunity for USA farmers, ranchers, solar developers, and organizations to pilot projects integrating cattle grazing areas with solar energy production. Funding is intended to promote clean energy and sustainable agriculture through shared land use. Both new and currently operational cattle agrivoltaics projects are eligible to participate.

The specific purpose of IES-supported training programs is to aims to prepare individuals to conduct rigorous and relevant education research that advances knowledge within the field and addresses issues important to education policymakers and practitioners.

Grants to USA early-career faculty members at nonprofit academic institutions for research related to petroleum. New applicants must complete required registrations prior to applying. Eligible applicants are scientists and engineers who are within the first three years of their first academic appointment at the level of Assistant Professor or the equivalent.

Grants of up to $20,000 to USA and Canada orthopedic surgeons for medical research projects. Funding is intended to support early-stage researchers in the field of elbow and shoulder studies. Applications may also be submitted by PhDs and DVMs affiliated with an orthopedic department and partnering with an orthopedic surgeon.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations for educational enrichment programs that benefit middle school students, particularly in underserved populations. Funding is intended for out-of-school activities, including after-school and summer learning programs, that help prepare middle school students for success in high school and beyond. The grants will support programs within the focus areas of social justice and youth entrepreneurship. Target States for the 2025 grant cycle are: Alaska, Hawaiʻi, Idaho, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Grants and in-kind services to USA qualifying nonprofit non-governmental organizations for programs to assist survivors of violent acts again women. Funding is intended to support programs in the focus areas of economic empowerment, housing, and technology. Successful applicants will also benefit from peer engagement and strategic resources through their participation in a think tank.

Grants of $2,500 to USA nonprofit organizations for projects to benefit local communities. Funding is intended for the provision of needs-based services including basic human needs, health and medicine, financial education and literacy, and mental health and crisis support.

Grants to USA and territories nonprofit and tribal organizations, educational institutions, and government entities for programs and projects to support and promote sanctuaries for marine habitats in eligible locations. Eligible organizations are those seeking to advocate and advance the sites currently in the national marine sanctuary designation process and initial establishment of new sites, but do not have the resources to do so.

Grants to Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont school districts to add milk-based items to the school menu. Funding is intended to support equipment purchases, promotion materials, and marketing expenses. Funds should promote the sales of dairy products and increase access to school meals and dairy foods for students.

Grants to Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont school districts to support equipment purchases related to the expansion of school meal programs. Funding is intended for the acquisition of equipment packages that enable schools to expand their breakfast offerings, create customization stations, and add new dairy menu items such as smoothies, hot chocolate milk, and bulk milk to their school food menus.

Grants to Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont organizations and districts to establish new or expand currently operating meal programs in schools during the summer. Funding is intended to support promotion and marketing, student engagement, and food service equipment such as insulated cooler bags and ice sheets, portable milk cooler, and partial funding for vehicle wraps. Preference will be given to proposals that actively engage students. Funded activities should increase access to school meals and promote dairy sales.

Research Fellowship to a USA graduate or doctoral student to study Mississippi's religious history. The student will have access to the state archives for their research. Included in the fellowship package is a stipend to cover housing, travel, and other expenses; the individual is expected to stay at least two weeks in Jackson, Mississippi. This program seeks to nurture graduate and doctoral students to increase their life-long interest in history and to promote continued academic and public appreciation of the study of religious history in Mississippi.

Awards of $25,000 in charitable funds and in-kind mentoring services to USA and territories women in recognition of outstanding volunteer efforts. The purpose of the award is to honor women who generously volunteer on behalf of their communities. The funding source will make a donation on behalf of each Honoree to the charitable organization of her choice.

Grants to USA individuals to benefit those with disabilities, including autism. Funding is intended to promote inclusion and respect for the range of individuals in communities. The goal of the program is to assist those who wish to participate in a variety of activities alongside their non-disabled peers.

Grants of up to $5,000 to USA youth partnered with nonprofit organizations and schools for projects to effect positive change. Priority will be given to projects focused on environmental justice. Successful applicants will participate in a fellowship program that will support the development of their project.

Tax credits to USA businesses to encourage business expansion and relocation to California. The purpose of this program is to support employment and economic development in the State of California. This program is open to businesses of any size that want to stay and grow in California or move to California.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International artists for science-related film projects. Funding is intended to support feature-length nonfiction documentary projects that encourage an exploration of science-related topics. Projects may be at any stage of development, production, and post-production.

Grants to USA tribal entities and organizations, Alaskan native entities, and eligible schools for educational programs to increase employment opportunities for eligible populations. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take upwards of several weeks to complete. Funding is intended to improve career and technical education (CTE) programs that benefit Native Americans and Alaska Natives.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International early-career biomedical researchers for research related to prostate cancer. Funding is intended to support innovative, impactful studies carried out by qualifying applicants working in basic, translational, computational, or clinical research under the supervision of mentors. Priority will be given to translational research proposals that display potential to deliver near-term benefit to patients. Researchers working on prostate cancer health disparities are particularly encouraged to apply.

Grants to USA public, private, and state institutions of higher education to advance foreign language studies. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Eligible expenses include travel, stipend, affiliation fees, and research-related expenses.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International individuals to prepare and present campaigns addressing climate change. Funding is intended for directors, producers, and creatives to publicize climate concerns that predominantly affect underrepresented communities. Projects are accepted from new and established artists working in a wide range of media formats.

Award of $10,000 to a USA individual to recognize accomplishments in promoting equity and social justice in health, with a focus on health-related professions. Nominees may be working in a wide range of fields, including nursing, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, public health, law, and education.

Grant to a USA nonprofit organization, for-profit, government agency, IHE, or tribe to develop a mental health research center and training program. Applicants are advised that the required registrations must be completed prior to applying. Funding is intended to contribute to maximizing the health and function outcomes of people with SMHCs.

Opportunity for USA and territories second-year doctoral students from underrepresented backgrounds to participate in a health leadership development program. Participants will receive a stipend and will participate in activities to supplement their doctoral training. Applicants must be from populations underrepresented in specific doctoral disciplines and/or marginalized backgrounds. Funding is intended to offset the financial impact of mental, dental, and physical health emergencies.
