THE PRIMARY THRUST OF OVAF TO DATE HAS BEEN TO EDUCATE AND ENGAGE THE PUBLIC IN AN EFFORT TO REQUIRE NATIONAL LABELING OF GENETICALLY ENGINEERED FOODS IN THE UNITED STATES THROUGH ITS PROJECT JUST LABEL IT (JLI).

MISSION OF IS TO PROVIDE FUNDS TO RESCUE ORGANIZATIONS OR INDIVIDUALS TO HELP PAY FOR TRANSPORTATION, BOARDING, EVALUATIONS AND MEDICAL EXPENSES FOR GOLDEN RETRIEVERS AND GOLDEN-HEARTED DOGS TAKEN INTO RESCUE. ALSO PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION AND MATERIALS TO RESCUE ORGANIZATIONS AND PUBLIC. FOR PURPOSE OF GRANT DISTRIBUTIONS REQUIRES EVERY ANIMAL WELFARE ORGANIZATION TO PRE-QUALIFY BEFORE A GRANT IS AUTHORIZED OR DISTRIBUTED. REQUESTS PRE-QUALIFYING INFORMATION INCLUDING MAILING AND CONTACT INFORMATION, BUSINESS STRUCTURE, TAX EXEMPT STATUS, RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER BREED CLUBS, AS WELL AS CERTAIN POLICY AND OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES.

OPERATES HOME FOR OLDER RESIDENTS THAT DO NOT WISH TO LIVE ALONE, BUT CAN LIVE INDEPENDENTLY. WHILE WE PROVIDE 24 HOUR SUPERVISION, WITH NO MEDICAL CARE, RESIDENTS CAN LIVE IN SAFE, COMFORTABLE HOMELIKE ENVIRONMENT. WE CURRENTLY SERVE 2 RESIDENTS (MAXIMUM CAPACITY IS 5).

TO RAISE FUNDS TO DEVELOP VARIOUS PROGRAMS WITHIN THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC, AND REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF SKIN CANCERS, SPECIFICALLY MELANOMA.

STUDENTS TRAVELED TO HONDURAS TO ESTABLISH RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL PEOPLE, PROVIDE MEDICAL SUPPORT, AND EDUCATE HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS.
